My ex girlfriend broke up with me a year ago after I put on 50 lbs, wanted to have sex too much, and lied to her about different things (no cheating or suspicion of cheating went on though). I live 5 hours away from her and have learned a lot since I moved away 7 months ago. My plan is to drop all my excess weight, get all my debt paid off, start college again, and get my own apartment when I move back this summer (I was living with my parents when we were dating). I plan to ask her to dinner and when I pick her up she’ll see me in excellent shape and I’ll tell her about how far I’ve come and just admit to her everything that I ever lied to her about, just coming completely clean with her and apologizing and really trying to prove to her that I’m not the same person I was then. Will this work? Please don’t answer If your gonna be sarcastic or a smart@ss.

Okay. Let me just tell you now that if your going to say something like “Revenge is a bad idea” I don’t want to hear it. I want to get revenge on this girl for lieing to me. It wasnt a small white lie,It was a big lie. and I want to get her back somehow.

And i still want to be with him. But i think he might like this other girl. But she’s not going, thankfully. Can anyone help me and give me advice how to get his attention and to show him what he’s missing?
